FSTN.Family FSTN is an all-volunteer non-professional support group of and for family members and friends of persons with serious persistent mental illness (of any/all ages), especially persons living in Montgomery County, Maryland, USA. Their goals are to: (1) Provide information about resources and services, including their points of entry, for persons with serious persistent mental illness and their families. (2) Provide one-to-one and small group peer support to families with loved ones with serious persistent mental illness. (3) Provide semi-annual social activities for families and their loved ones with serious persistent mental illness. (Living in the midst of serious mental illness is extremely difficult for all involved; FSTN believes it is vitally important to foster positive, fun experiences for all engaged in these difficult relationships.)  
WorkingWithMS “Working with MS” is a self-help positive solution-focused support group for individuals living with the diagnosis and/or symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and are working/employed. WorkingWithMS is a closed group (i.e., intended for persons with the symptoms and/or diagnosis of MS; their attendants are welcome) that offers positive peer support & successful strategies for living & working with the symptoms & diagnosis of MS. WorkingWithMS meets in person monthly and manages a website with resources and information especially helpful to persons working and living with MS in the Washington DC, Maryland, & Virginia areas of the USA. The Working with MS support group is a registered National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) peer-support group.
